WHAT WE KEEP, AND WHY.

Short version: one form, one purpose, one mailbox. No accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising, nothing sold or shared. If you want out, one line to us and you are out.

Who is responsible

The data controller is CYPHERTEAM, SIREN 912 414 752, registered at 58 rue du Surmelin, 75020 Paris, France. Dyapason is a brand of CYPHERTEAM. Questions, requests and complaints: aurelien@dyapason.io.

What we collect

Only what you type into the pre-order interest form:

We do not collect anything else. No cookies are set, no analytics run, and we do not build a profile of you. Your appearance preference (paper or backlit) is stored in your own browser and never sent anywhere.

One exception, and it is yours to trigger: the demo video is hosted on YouTube. The page shows our own still image instead of the player, and nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play. If you do, YouTube receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy rather than ours. If you would rather not, do not press play — the rest of the page does not need it.

Why, and on what basis

Two purposes, both on the basis of your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by ticking the box on the form:

• To write to you when the first series opens for pre-order, and when the free demo build of the Manager is ready.
• To decide what the first series has to do, and which decks to buy for the test bench. Answers are read individually, not run through any automated decision-making.

We will not use your address for anything else, and we will not send you a newsletter you did not ask for.

How long we keep it

24 months from our last exchange with you, then deleted. If the project stops before then, we delete everything within 30 days and tell you we have.

Who else sees it

Nobody outside CYPHERTEAM reads your answers. Two companies handle them for us, as processors under contract: Airtable, where the answers are stored, and Vercel, which serves this site and through whose server the form passes. Nothing is sold, rented, or handed to advertisers.

Both are based in the United States, so this involves a transfer outside the European Union. Each is covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, which form part of their data processing agreements. If you would rather not have your details handled there, write to us and we will take them by email instead.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or hand it to you in a portable format. You can withdraw your consent at any time — that does not undo what was lawful beforehand. One mail to aurelien@dyapason.io is enough; no form, no justification, and we answer within one month.

If you think we have handled your data badly and we have not fixed it, you can complain to the CNIL — www.cnil.fr, 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to the responses is limited to the people at CYPHERTEAM who need it. We keep the amount of data small on purpose: the less we hold, the less there is to lose.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that affects you, we will say so at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, write to the people it concerns.
